THE NORTH CHATHAM UNITED METHODIST CHURCH

We are proud to be an active and engaged member of the North Chatham community. From hosting events and activities to supporting local charities and organizations, we are always looking for ways to make a positive impact.

Our Mission

The vision of this church is to be a beacon of moral and spiritual leadership by living the Gospel of Jesus Christ through witness, service, and prayer.

The mission of this church is to nurture and uplift the lives of all we touch in both the immediate and the global community.

In affirmation of Open Hearts, Open Minds, Open Doors, the North Chatham United Methodist Church embraces people of all races,

ethnicities, gender, identities, sexual orientations, ages, abilities, family structures, and cultural background.

All People are welcome to be full participants in the worship,

membership and ministry of this church.

"Do all the good you can. By all the means you can. In all the ways you can. In all the places you can. At all times, you can. To all the people you can. As long as you can." John Wesley

GIVE US A LIFT CAMPAIGN

North Chatham, a treasured community in Columbia County, is home to many retirees. As the second-oldest county in the state, our church membership reflects this aging demographic.

While the sanctuary on the second floor is a beautiful space, it is not accessible for individuals with mobility challenges, particularly during services and events. The chair lift we have used for the past 46 years is no longer functioning, and replacement parts are unavailable.

To ensure inclusivity, we need to replace the chair lift, which costs $14,000. The Church Administrative Council has approved a fundraising plan, and we kindly ask our community to consider making pledges or donations.

Our leaders are setting an example by contributing according to their means. Please consider donating through a pledge, by mailing a check, or using a credit card on our website. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us.

Thank you for your generosity. Together, we can create a church that welcomes everyone. To create a church that welcomes everyone.

YES, I WANT TO HELP!
